The most-requested scope we handle. We pull the old alcove tub, relocate the drain and valve, waterproof the new pan and walls, and set the tile so the finished shower looks original to the room. A conversion in a standard tub footprint usually fits inside the 3-5 week hall bathroom timeline.
A barrier-free, roll-in entry with no threshold to step over. Curbless builds require a recessed pan and a linear drain planned before demo, since the subfloor has to be dropped to keep water inside the shower zone. Popular for aging-in-place and clean contemporary designs alike.
Every wet surface gets a fully sealed sheet membrane: floor, walls, and any built-in niche. Seams are sealed with waterproofing seam tape set in thinset, the pre-slope is verified, and the assembly is checked before a single tile goes down.
Small-format mosaic (1x1 or 2x2) is the practical choice for a shower floor: the dense grout-line pattern adds slip resistance and conforms cleanly to the pre-slope contour. We review floor tile at the planning phase so the pick performs as well as it looks.
